What I believe is unimportant to anyone but me. What YOU believe is the important thing. How does your belief color your life? Is it easy for you to follow your belief? Does your belief help you live your life?
I will be posting an essay on my belief sometime in the future but there are many clues to my belief on the site already. Everything here is based on my belief; however, it is highly unlikely that any first assumption will be correct.
I will award a gold star to anyone who figures it out before I post it.

I am not an atheist. This universe did not bang into existence, however, a bumbling hateful tribal god did not create this world nor humankind. Our creator would not demand blood sacrifices of the creatures it created just so it could savor the sweet aroma of burning flesh.
BTW, I believe the creator of this site believes in fairness for all people. I think he is disdainful of the bible for it portrays hate, racism, sexism, bloodshed and abuse of mankind, including children. I think he believes, as I do, that whoever the creator is, it is a being of pure divine love and beauty. The devil may deceive and inspire men to write evil things in the name of the true creator, but the devil cannot create a butterfly, a sunset or a flower. Our creator made those things just for us to enjoy. He intended us to live, love, help each other, share and reflect him in our actions and words. We do have a free will and what we choose to do with our life and what we have been given is entirely up to each of us. I think we are living our judgment and at the end, we will have passed that judgment on ourselves and it will speak for or against us. The creator will not have to make a decision where we end up. We are working on that every moment we live.

Posted 08 Oct 2008 at 3:18 pm ¶You are quite close to understanding where I’m coming from. Thank you. While our thoughts are very similar, I am less sure. I think my conclusions are correct but I will continue to question them. The best way I have found to do this is to debate with folks who think differently in the hope they can lead me to some new and perhaps even more interesting thoughts about this thing we call life.
