Satan Wrote the Bible

Teach Satanism in schools?!! What an odd thought, but, yes, the Bible should be taught in schools. It already is, of course, as it is difficult to teach literature without running into biblical references. The Bible has been the most influential book in the past 2,000 years of Western civilization. How can history be taught without some understanding of the Bible and I don’t just mean the wars and carnage in which the Bible has figured? The Bible has influenced some of the greatest art and architecture ever created.

If we are wise, we will teach the Koran as well and Eastern religions. The underlying ethic for this teaching should be respect for all. People’s beliefs are often strongly held. Indeed they are central to some people’s lives and to disrespect them in any way is hurtful. But if we turn our backs on beliefs other than our own, we have little hope of living a life filled with love.
